Before you install Encase Lite, it's important to know a few things before you begin.

1. With this theme, you get a lot of files and folders within the downloaded package that may seem confusing as to what each one is for. We recommend taking some time to explore the contents so that you will have an idea of what is included.
2. We are also on the assumption that you have some basic understanding of how WordPress works. However, if you are new to WordPress, we recommend you check out www.wordpress.org for documentation for installing and using WordPress. You may also want to consider checking out www.wp101.com for video tutorials about how to use WordPress. If you need help with understnading the basics of HTML and CSS, you will want to bookmark www.w3schools.com as a reference.
Plugins are NOT included with this theme. We do not include these because not everyone wants to use the same plugins and may have their own choices. Downloading plugins as you need them will also assure that you have the most recent version. This theme does use plugins, but they are considered to be optional. However, there are a few features with this theme that requires at least a couple of plugins:
1. Widget CSS Classes - Gives you the ability to take advantage of widget styling
2. JetPack - Gives you the ability to add various features including portfolio, contact forms, and widget visibility among others.
3. Support for this theme includes helping you with video tutorials on features and functions of the theme, bugs you may find, or if you need to know where specific code is. What is not included, are tutorials on how to customize your theme outside of the theme option settings, HTML or CSS tutorials.
4. Updates are announced from the WordPress.

Encase lite offers several features, but some require plugins if you decide to use them and should be considered as optional. You will need to download and install these because they are not included in the download of this theme. We do this so that everyone can choose which plugins they want to install, but it also ensures the most recent version of each plugin is installed.

• SG CachePress - Through the settings of this plugin you can manage how your Wordpress interracts with NGINX and Memcached.

In this tutorial, we're going to show you how to use Google fonts in Encase lite theme.

What is Google Fonts ?

Google Fonts is an interactive directory of free hosted API for web fonts. This directory has now more than 650 web fonts and it's increasing each day. You can find those fonts here : https://www.google.com/fonts 

Getting Started

• Download the Plugin wordpress.org/plugins/wp-google-fonts
• After you have downloaded the plugin Activate the plugin
• After you activate your plugin you can go to Settings menu, and select google fonts
• Choose font from the dropdown and click on the show options, afterthat select the tags where you want your google fonts implemented . For example if you want your h1 class to be font "abel" choose font abel and select the h1 property.
• If you want different fonts for all selector you can choose the fonts from font1, font2 and font 3 respectively.
• After you have choosen the fonts your are ready to go! cheers 

Note: Using many google fonts can slow down your website, so we recommend you to use up to 2 fonts for your site.

In this tutorial we are going to show you how to create a front page like the demo, all of the process are explained below:

6. For any images, upload new images 250x140 pixels (can be any height you want) and copy their File URL and replace the sample ones in the code snippet.
