Installing Scripted Pro Theme (Administration Panel)

• Get a copy of  Scripted Pro Theme
• Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
• Click on Appearance -> Themes -> Add New
• Click on Upload Theme button at the top and browse the downloaded zip file in your computer.
• Click on Install button and then Activate the theme.

 

Installing Scripted Pro Theme (Cpanel / ftp)

• Get a copy of Scripted Pro Theme
• Unzip the downloaded zip file.
• Upload the unzipped file in to /wp-content/themes/
• Now, activate the theme by going to Appearance -> Themes in the wordpress dashboard.
• Activate the Scripted Pro and Click on “Customize” in the Appearance Menu in the Dashboard. To edit the content of theme.

 

Updating Theme

• Backup your existing theme folder
• Copy the files inside "scripted-pro" folder from the zip file of the latest version of  Scripted Pro Theme.
• Enter the theme's admin panel and save your options.

Heading text and content:

• appearance > customize > Home page  > Heading
• Add or change the content here to change the heading of home page.

 

Home Three Column Text:

• appearance > customize > Home page  > Left Text Columns to change or add text in left.
• appearance > customize > Home page  > Center Text Columns to change or add text in Center.
• appearance > customize > Home page  > Right Text Columns to change or add text in Right.
• 

Upload Custom Logo:

• appearance> Customizer > General setting > upload custom logo.
• Then upload logo to change in header.
• Screenshot to change custom header image is shown below.
• 

 

 Feedburn Url:

• Enter the feedburn url which shows your url feeds.

Contact Form Recepient

• First install the contact form 7 plugin.
• Then copy and paste the contact form shortcode to view the contact from.
• 

 

Site analysis code:

• Insert the site analysis code here.

 

Upload Favicon:

• appearance> Customizer > General setting > upload favicon.
• Upload favicon of your choice here if you leave it empty default faviocn of theme is loaded.

Header Right Icon

• Enter the header right icon here. 
• 

 Top Header Content Option

• Check this checkbox to view Site title as header and hide header image.

In this tutorial, we will be guiding to the page templates that Scripted Lite provides.

Default Template	This template is default and it shows full content along with content.
Sidebat Template	This template shows content with right sidebar.
Contact	This Templates Displays full content of contact us page.
Portfolio	This Templates Displays all the posts posted under portfolio posty type.
Portfolio (Shortable)	This Templates Displays all the posts posted under portfolio posty type with shortable according to the  Terms they are posted in.
Home page	This template displays the full width home page view.

 

How to change the page templates

Link & Accent Color

• Go to Appearance > Customizer > Styles > Link & Accent Color.
• Then choose to color of your choice to implement in all the link in theme.
• 

Custom css:

• Enter the custom css here to change the style of the site.

 

 

• Create your static page and select home template for Home page add use it as front page.

      (Note: you must create the Page first. From Admin > Page > Add New)

 

Footer Text

• Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Footer Text
• Change or edit footer text here.

• Refer to the following youtube video to add portfolio in Scripted Pro theme
• select portfolio > add new. then input data for portfolio.
• 

To change icon in Header (icon top right)

• Select Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > General Settings > Header Icon (Top Righ)

To create Header Menu

• Select Dashboard > Appearance > Menus.
• 

 

Footer Menu:

• Select Dashboard > Appearance > Menus.
• It is same process as header menu instead of selecting Header Menu select "Footer Menu" to display in footer.

Bottom sidebar

• Select Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets.
• Add widgets in sidebar widget area do display in bottom content which will display after clicking header right icon.

Right Sidebar

• Select Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets.
• Add widgets in sidebar widget area do display in right sidebar.

Shop Sidebar

• Select Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets.
• Add widgets in sidebar widget area do display in Shop sidebar.

 

How to show site text as site title

Step 1 : Go to Dashboard(admin section) and Navigate to  Appereance > Customizer > Site Title & Taglines > Site identity

Step 2: Change the site title here to show the site title. To use title you should remove the Logo.

How to show site logo as site title

Step 1 : Go to Dashboard(admin section) and Navigate to  Appereance > Customizer > Site Title & Taglines > Site identity

Step 2: Enter the logo here to use logo as site title.

How to change favicon of the site

Step 1 : Go to Dashboard(admin section) and Navigate to  Appereance > Customizer > Site Title & Taglines > Site identity

Step 2: Change the site icon to change the site favicon.
