Regarding the nav-bar issue; We suppose that you want to change the colour of your sub menu items and let it be unchanged even after scrolling. You may simply change the colour of your sub-menu item as follows;
ul.nav-menu ul a, .nav-menu ul ul a {
color: #dd992a;
}
I am afraid if it works or not.
