Update.I found the revolution slider in the widget section, so I added it to the frontpage and it works, except the 2560 x 400 size is way to big for the slider, as the image cuts off. Is there a simple way to change the size of the slider? and still have it be full width? I have tried the different settings in the revolution slider, but none seem to work.
