Hello Gary,

Yes, your theme membership scheme has expired which you’ve to renew every year.
Just renew it and then enter your license key to Appearance / Theme License menu to activate one-click updates.
When you see a theme update notification you can proceed with the update.

Regarding about author section,
The default page template addreses it by default. You can change the page template or if you want to edit author information go to Dashboard>>Users and make desired changes.
