What I will do is try something out on my local test site. Perhaps what I could do is what I did recently for my Luminescence theme; I added a feature where the choice of content or excerpts is left up to the end-user to select from the theme options. So it’s one or the other, then add it as a new feature to an update of Encounters. I’ve had one person a while back request this of Encounters.
