Thanks for the link….now I understand and see…unfortunately not easily done because the “Quote post format” is a different style than the standard blog post which is why you see it different there. If you look at the demo site for Preferential, then go to the “WordPress” menu, you can see all the different WP post formats available, each with it’s own unique style and layout.

What I did with the post formats so they don’t show up in the main blog except standard posts was to create a category, for example: Quotes
I then used a plugin called Simply Exclude and used that to not show the “Quotes” category in the blog and the category widget. I then made a menu link to the Quotes category.
