    Hi,

I’m trying to get a little vertical control over where the caption text appears in the slideshow. The html snippets have horizontal control but so far I haven’t been able to find how to change the position vertically. Any pointers would be great. Thanks.

Secondly, I see my Widgetkit pluign is old. To update it without breaking anything, should i just FTP the updated plugin to my server or should use WP to remove the old one then install the new one from the dashboard? (Sorry that this is not strictly a theme question).

    Thanks,
    John

    Hi John,

For the first question could you please post a link so we could give any pointers.

and regarding the second question you can use any of those methods. 🙂

    Thanks.

    Hi Shekhar,

Thanks. Here is the link: http://businessexcellence.org/apex-management-training-game/

We just want to adjust the vertical position of “Decision making in the face of uncertainty”.

    Thanks and bye for now,
    John

PS Widgetkit upgraded using the FTP approach (worked fine but has broken our Widgetkit twitter feed which I hope I can fix soon)… thanks!

    Hi John,

You can adjust the vertical position with the use of custom html. Can you provide us the wp-login details of the site so we could provide you the exact code.

    Thanks

    Hi Shekhar,

I’ll see about getting the security disabled and will email you login details once I have. Thanks.

By the way, I was able to fix twitter (more or less) after upgrading Widgetkit but now the Widgetkit media player doesn’t work on iPads. What player do you use on these pages?

    Bye for now,
    John

    Hi Shekhar,

Apologies about the delay. Things have got very busy and in the meantime we’ve decided we can live with the text where it is so I’m going to close this.

    Thanks for the help!
    John
