Is it possible to use shortcode in the Short Announcement field (found in Customize > Top Bar Settings)? Or, is it only a text field?

Hi,
It is just a text field, You cant put shortcode there. And if you want to use any shortcodes from any other plugins you need to insert it in page or post content area. And you can also put shortcode in .php files by,

echo do_shortcode(‘[your shortcode]’);
