Hi – I am a designer that doesn’t know how to modify CSS or PHP very well.
Site address: http://www.dacasahomes.com
I have a gap underneath my menu, where I would like for there not to be one. On the theme montage of Pure and Simple, the main image appears without space. Have I done something wrong, or do I need to revise? The image in question is set to the feature image, but it also happens if I just place the image in the top of the article.
I’ve tried all the template page options, and still have this gap going on. Is this a setting I might find in the customizer?
Thank you so much!
Jenny
Hi Jenny,
For the looks like the demo page, you can use banner wide position, if you use the page featured image their will be gap. You can view this tutorial: https://www.styledthemes.com/pure-simple-pro-setup/361-create-a-slider-like-the-demo-website-using-widgetkit-pure-simple
Thanks
Perfect – Thank you so much for getting back to me!
Off topic: What slider did you use for portfolio?
I used Widgetkit v. 1.5.5 by Yootheme – that was recommended in the tutorial. I didn’t have to FTP up a style from my Theme to apply to the slider, though. I just used it as-is.
Hi There,
The portfolio is made using jetpack custom post type, i don’t understand what you are talking about the slider. Could you please explain.
Thanks
Hi – I am doing more research – because I installed Widgetkit’s free demo so that I could have a banner (and used the Image (Widgetkit) widget in the banner position, and that worked. But when I tried to use the slideshow, It didn’t go to full page. I think I got sidetracked and followed the wrong instructions. I need to get ftp access to the server first before I can follow the instructions to the tutorial that you provided, Shekhar.
