Banner image blurry

Hi I uploaded a 2560*150 high resolution img for the banner, but it turned out very blurry, I think the reason is that the real banner in display is much higher than 150, so it stretched the 150px img that I uploaded, which lead to the blurry result.

How can I maintain a high resolution header img? It forces me to crop the uploaded image to 150px tall…

The theme place min height of 150px itself for banner image, might be other aspects is disturbing . So could you please provide us your site url so we can provide you appropriate solution.
