ParticipantNow that I can relax, there’s some other things I’m wondering about.
If the code you’re talking about me using instead of bootstrap is the following one–]

it doesn’t work. It didn’t work on the site that I lost and that’s why I used the ‘bootstrap shortcodes’ plugin, which worked great. Then when I upgraded the theme, you correctly identified that as the problem as to why my site wasn’t working right. However, the above code still doesn’t work in the theme, so I finally went back to using tables.
Also, the Child Theme no longer works. I’ve put in code to made changes to the font in the menu, but it has no effect. I also put a code in there that you gave me to add a custom background to the header, which again worked great before the upgrade, but it no longer has any effect.
The code is:
#cel-header {
background-image: url(‘http://ronking.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/bar-back.png’);
}
Let me know your thoughts, and thanks for getting me through my crises, the conference is going great! Ron
Hi Ron,
Great to know that Your conference is going well 🙂
Regarding the code yes it works try to paste the code into a blank page and have a try, it works. and for the child theme you haven’t activated your child theme so i couldn’t check, could you please activate the child theme.
Thanks.
Gulp, I didn’t understand about activating the Child Theme again. That did it.
I had tried pasting the code onto a different page, but, at your suggestion, I created a new, blank page, and pasted the code When I save and view page, it just shows the code as text.
So when I paste –

it looks exactly like the above on the saved page. Is there something else I’m supposed to do besides just pasting the code?
I’m adding an image to the page to show you what I mean. There should be three neat rows with the text ‘Add your own….’. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, but whatever it is it doesn’t want to work for me.
