MemberI notice that the demo for this theme has several call to action buttons, or buttons where you can click to access another page.
I used Soliloquy to create a Slider. On one of the Slider images, I want to place a button on the right bottom corner that will link to a form to subscribe to my newsletter. Soliloquy will let me link the image to a url. By editing the image, I could add a call to action button, but I would prefer to use a “dynamic” button like your “learn more” button. Do you have documentation that shows how to do this? If it will not work with Soliloquy, I am not opposed to using a different slider plugin for the two slides. Right now, I have placed a shortcode for the slider in the Banner widget box.May 6, 2016 at 12:33 am #22850Richard Greenspan

ParticipantHi Richard,
Please follow this link to have a slider in your site with the buttons and for buttons you need to do is that you need to add the caption on the image, so we have kept the code below for the caption as well as we have attached the screenshot where to use the caption. We hope this will be helpful to you, if not then please let us know.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Binaya,
I already found the new link, but in step 2 of that, another dead link :
Step 2 – Create a Home Page Slider
You need to create a slider using widgetkit plugin. The complete tutorial to make a slideshow can be find here: https://www.styledthemes.com/flat-responsive-setup/387-create-a-slider-like-the-demo-website-using-widgetkit and place the shortcode that come from widget kit to banner-wide widget position.
