Change Copyright in footer.php

Hi there,

I would like to change the copyright in the footer from “Your Name” to “Dave’s Health & Nutrition”.

This is the original code in the footer.php file:

When I make the change below, the footer and bottom of the container disappear entirely:

. 

Is that the incorrect edit? What should I do differently?

Hi Dave’s,

You needn’t to edit the php file because you can edit it easily by customization, so please follow the following steps to fix your issue:
Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Basic Setting=> And you can edit in (Your Copyright Name)=> Then save it.
