changing footer.php in p&S child theme

I’ve moved the footer.php from the p&s theme to the p&s child theme, and have made some changes, but they are not taking. I’ve cleared my cache, reactived the child theme, but as yet have have no luck with these changes appearing.

Any advice?

Hi Betty,

Have you copied or moved the footer.php file? both main and child theme should have footer.php file, so that the changes occurs.

Thanks! I had moved it, but I moved it to the wrong place. Already corrected. Appreciate your response tho. 🙂
