Hello! Is there a way in your theme to easily edit the entry-meta display? for example, I want it to display the post categories, and author.
Hi Ark Zaydman,
Yes you can easily display the post categories in our theme or you can follow this link(tutorial) where you can get the introduction to post format https://www.styledthemes.com/pure-simple-pro-setup/320-introduction-to-post-formats
Thanks
I appreciate your response, Binaya, but your reply had almost nothing to do with the question I asked.
I asked about editing my entry meta display, not about the style of my posts. (i.e. the H2 section below each post title that gives information about the post like author, date published, category, etc…)
Hi Ark,
If you want to keep the author name and category in post then you need to do custom code or we have attached the php file, so please replace this file to template.tags.php. To replace this file please follow the following steps:
Go to Theme directory / Wp-content / themes / puresimple / inc / then replace the file.
Note: Firstly please unzip the file.
Thanks
template-tags.zip
THIS is exactly what I was looking for. Should I install a child them first? I do not want to screw anything up.
I just looked in the folder, and I do not have anything with a similar name to the file you sent. Within inc I have a folder called metabox that splits into js and helpers. No files or folders within inc are called template-tags. Did you mean pure-simple? Not puresimple
Hi Ark,
That is the php file which we have provided inside the folder, you can see that after the unzip the folder which we have send to you. We have attached the screenshots also to make you clear about it, we hope you will understand.
Thanks

I found it, but it did not exist in puresimple (which was the demo). It DID exist in pure-simple. I replaced it, and everything went through smoothly but still no categories or author appear. Well, author appears after clicking read more, but not before.
Hi Ark,
Could you please provide us FTP details of your site via mail, so that we could provide the solution to you.
Thanks
Is the attached file customized for Ark, or is it an universal one that I can use as well?
Hi Aki,
You can also use the attached file, if you face any problem then please let us know.
Thanks
