drop down menu on mobile site stopped working

Hi,

Not sure what is going on, but my site is up to date and I just found out from a site user that the mobile drop down menu stopped working. It used to work but now it doesn’t — when i click on it, it turns from teal to red but no navigation menu drops down. I only have one menu on my site.

Everything is up to date

How do I get my menu back!

Hello Blake,

Have you made any changes to the theme file/s? Sometimes the use of third party plugin/s may create conflict so please check if you’ve used one. You can test by temporarily deactivating and reactivating the plugin/s one by one.
Please have a look and let us know if it works or not.

No I have not changed any theme files, although I do have a child’s theme, but did not add any css in the code editor. The site has been working perfectly, however the creator of our 3d interactive map on the front page did update the link on his end, but i can’t imagine that would cause any issues. The site worked great for nearly a year…i have done no updates lately — other than plugins, and i’m wondering if “header and footer” to insert some mailchimp newsletter sign up message on the front page….but when i go back to those, i no longer see any code? but these worked fine until just a few weeks ago.

i deactivated the header and footer post insertion plugins and that did not work…the i deactivate the mailchimp pop up and voila, the menu is working again..thanks for your assistance!
