Dynamic footer only on home page

Hi, I’ve added a text widget to the dynamic footer widget. I’ve checked and it should be rendering on all pages, posts, etc. I did a test and set it up on render on all pages BUT the home page- it stopped showing up on the home page but wasn’t on any of the other pages either. I unchecked that option and now it should be on all pages/posts/ etc. But it’s only working on the home page and none of the others. Any suggestions on how to get it to show up on all pages?

Hi June,

It seems you are using dynamic widgets plugins . Please refer this video tutorial on dynamic widgets.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Mvpx-y3WaQ
And you can check following things to fix your issue:
Go to dashboard -> widgets -> Footer widgets areas -> text widgets -> below the content area we can see “Dynamic Widgets: Dynamic” click on dynamic string you will be forwarded to dynamic widgets edit section.
1> On pages section you need to mark Yes for “Show widget default on static pages?”
2> Setting posts pages control rendering of widgets on the place where your post are listed. So checked yes to render on posts page.

thanks- it was the visibility setting within the text widget that was overriding the dynamic settings. all set now.
