Featured Images on pages and blog

I need to set the featured image on all of my website pages so when I share or somebody shares to social media with my buttons it shows with my featured image. My problem is that i do not know how to hide the featured image on each page as I do not want it to show and repeat itself again on the page but it is needed for the posting on social media facebook specifically.

The problem I have with my featured image on my blog is that even if it is set when I send the blog with my share button to facebook it does not publish the featured image on the post but another image that is in the widget side bar

It seems you are using seo yost plugin for sharing featured image. Be sure you had set up all the setting perfectly. You can take reference of this article:

We had checked your post http://www.puentesdeluz.com.mx/taller-de-reflejos/ and found that on the og image is pulling sidebar image and this is the problem on post only . On pages it’s working perfectly. So we request you to consult to plugin author for better solution.
