Maybe I’m just missing something, but how do I create a side menu like the one that appears on the Headings Page on the demo site? (http://demo.styledthemes.com/preferential/headings/) So far, when I insert a custom menu into the Page Right Sidebar, it has small font and looks nothing like the demo menu.

    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Stacy

    Hi Dave,

You can create a custom menu and insert it via the widget. There is a widget call custom menu. To do so here are the steps:
    1) Go To Appearance->Menu
    2) Create a menu and save it as Features Menu
    3) Go to Page Right Sidebar and create a custom menu widget.
    4) Select the menu that you create on the step 2.

    Thanks

I don’t see an option to save it as a Features Menu, only as a Primary Menu or Footer Menu…

    Hi Dave,

You don’t need to save that to any menus, leave it blank and select it from widgets.

    Hope you understand it.

    Thanks

Thanks for the advice, but when I insert the menu as a Custom Menu widget, the result looks like this (screenshot). What might I be missing?

The domain is daveshealth.com. The page where I am trying to insert the menu is: https://daveshealth.com/herbal-formulas/.

    Hi Dave,

Have you installed the widget css class plugin, if not please install the widget css classes and insert the following class “listlines”, which will produce the same design as the demo site.

    Thanks

Is there a place I can reference the CSS classes that Preferential supports? Would love to be able to use some more widget styles.

    Hi Dave,

Yes, it support css classes for widget style. Please use the custom css plugin or child theme to write the custom css.

    Thanks
