Flat Responsive Menu Disappeared

My top menu no longer shows on the home page. This occurred after I had added captions to the slide show and/or after I installed Jetpack and activated it. I did those things right after each other so I don’t know which one affected it.. I only have 2 pages. If you go to http://heartoftexasbnb.com/about, the menu shows up

And, after I got the slide show working, using your excellent instructions, the text on the home page disappeared. It’s still there in Admin, but I don’t know where it went on the “live” site.

I appreciate your fixing it, but I think it would be helpful to other users if you posted how you fixed it here. I’ve noticed that on many inquiries, you email the fix to someone instead of posting it here.

It seems that you have selected the the template as landing page to the front pages,so this is the issue on your site.
