MemberHi:)
Any idea why the Footer Widgets Links Colour comes in twho different colors? In the Theme Customizer I’ve selected one color for the Footer Widgets Links. But “live”, widget in fotter1 apears with another link color (Jetpack widget). And so does one of total five links in footer2 (latest article), and some of the tags in footer3 (ultimate Tag cloud).
What to do?:)

ModeratorThanks for the link (by the way, that is an amazing colour scheme for the site…it suits it very well). Anyway, what you are seeing is the “Visited” colour. So when you click on a link, go to that page, then you will see it change showing that you had visited that page. Anyway, to change this, I will have to do an update to the theme and add a little piece of css to the theme so that it stays the colour the footer links you set.
As for the posts disappearing, hard to say, but there is something not compatible and it could be a plugin or something else. I just upgraded a local test site of mine with Celestial Reloaded and my blog posts are still showing. I will have to try an upgrade to the live demo to see what happens.
One of the dangers of WordPress and their “auto update” notices. They are great but also dangerous should someone suddenly click upgrade not realizing something in their site might not be compatible (yet). For me, I will always do a full backup first before I click update on themes, plugins, and WordPress. For anyone upgrading their WordPress, it shows this message in the dashboard:
Important: before updating, please back up your database and files. For help with updates, visit the Updating WordPress Codex page.

ModeratorA quick update…I just now upgraded my live demo site for Celestial Reloaded to WP version 3.6 and so far everything seems to be running ok; my blog is showing posts.
So there might be something else in your site that is affected by the upgrade of WP. Best way to find out is one by one, disable your plugins and test your site blog each time until you find the one that is causing the disappearance of your posts.
**although it appears the LayerSlider plugin is affected.

MemberThank you! So the CSS for the footer color will be changed with the next theme update?
And thank you so much for checking the “lost post” issue :S You tip; try to disable plugin one by one helped – it was the Simply exclude that caused the problem. Now the site is back to normal 🙂

ModeratorI made a note about the footer colour link and will be in the next update.
As for the Simply Exclude, glad you found it was that. So basically, it’s a good plugin, but the hard part is to learn how to use it as it can do things like that. It took me a while to figure out how to use it so things would be seen or not seen on specific areas of the site. Sometimes it’s trial and error until you get it the way you want things. -
