    Hi,

I replaced my Google Analytics tracking codes by Google Tag Manager and now, the search forms are not working. I placed a search widget in the sidebars and these are redirecting the searches to the homepage without results.

Definitely, the problem is the theme. I tested the same scenario using other themes (On a test site) and everything works good.

My websites are knitmuch.com and quiltsocial.com.

    Any suggestion?

    Hi John,

We are really sorry to inform you that. It is really hard to find out the issue. So, can you provide us the test site where you using another theme with same Google Tag Manager. So, that it will be easy to both of us to find the solution asap. We hope you understand.

We look forward to your respond.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I did more tests and I’m completely sure that your theme isn’t compatible with Google Tag Manager. Once the snippet code is included after the <body>, the WP default search forms stop working. You can replicate the error linking a WordPress and Circumference installation with Google Tag Manager.

This is very bad because it’s an important tool for the marketers and the popularity is growing very fast. You should find a solution for that.

    Thanks.

    Hi John,

We check our theme in localhost and it works fine here, so there may be the conflict of the plugin in your site also, so could you please check once and let us know. We hope you understand.

    Thanks
