Do you know someone, why header photo is displaying only in start page and not in the other pages?
I set in all pages “Front page template – right sidebar”Thank you

ModeratorHi Dimitris….it was actually designed that way because most use the showcase header feature for front pages only. However, there is an option with the theme to use a widget to load sliders, images, or an image rotating plugin into the showcase widget area which is designed to show up on all pages (if one chooses). If using a widget option, I recommend the Advanced Text widget plugin because it offers settings built into the widget to disable the widget title, but also lets you publish and show the widget in select locations (including the front page).

MemberThanks for your reply, but:
I have installed plugin “Advanced Text” and put it in Showcase Header widget, but nothing new is happening.
Which code php , would be written in the widget text area, so I will see header photo in all pages?Thank you

ModeratorIf using the WP Custom Header feature (under the Appearance menu group in the admin), this will not require a widget but only shows on the front page. However, with the widget (ie: the Advanced text widget), you can install sliders or upload images to your media library and then insert an image into this widget. However, if you want the same kind of slider that the live demo site is using, you will need the Widgetkit plugin and then this has it’s own widget you can use and publish to the Showcase widget position. The widgetkit can be downloaded here: http://www.yootheme.com/widgetkit and then there is a tutorial for using this in the theme is here: https://www.styledthemes.com/preference-theme-setup/65-setup-a-slider-like-the-demo-website-for-preference
But…if you just want a single image to show throughout your page, you just need the Advanced Text Widget, publish this to the Showcase or Banner widget position, and then use basic
method of adding a photo into the text area of that widget.

MemberThank you very much for the code.
I am using the WP Custom Header feature – under the Appearance menu group in the admin),
but header photo is working only in home page and not in others. I don’t know why.So I removed header photo and put Advanced Text widget and then put the code you gave me and it is working.
The same photo in all pages on header, under menu. Great. If I want to have different photos on every pages ?
Thank you

Moderatoreasy enough… somewhat. For each image, use a new instance of the Advanced Text widget in the same position, but on the bottom of it, select page and then add the page ID into the field at the bottom for ID’s. Each page has an id, so each page can have it’s own image.

MemberI don’t understand your last instruction:
“For each image, use a new instance of the Advanced Text widget in the same position, but on the bottom of it, select page and then add the page ID into the field at the bottom for ID’s. Each page has an id, so each page can have it’s own image.”
Give me an example.please.Thank you

ModeratorSorry about that… I just did an update to one of the tutorials for showcase and banner headers and made it relate to your request.
