Hello, when I click on the Home link, it gives me an error message. I’m guessing it’s something I did, though I’m not sure what. The only thing I recall doing was to change Home Page to Home. The other possibility is that I might have created a new page called Home and deleted the default page called Home Page. Either way, now when I click on Home in my menu, this is what it says:
ERROR 404. The Page you are looking for does not exist or an other error occurred. Please go back to the Home Page or try searching for your page.
There’s a button that says Home Page. I click on it and it does bring me back to my home page (front page), whereas my Home link on the menu doesn’t. Any thoughts on how I can fix that? Thanks.
I’m assuming you have a page for your front page and your blog is further in the site? Check that you do have a page for your “Home front page” and that your Settings >> Reading >> settings for a static front page are set. Then check that the page for your home is the one added to the menu…in other words, I would simply delete the error home page link on the menu and add a new one of the page that should be the home.
