    Hello,

I am having a major issue with my Pure and Simple nav menu when viewing the theme on smaller screen sizes and mobile phones. The issue is as follows:

Whenever I click on a nav menu tab to open the sub menu, there is a “double click” effect that clicks through to a sub menu item. I want to be able to see the sub menu and select an option myself, so this is very frustrating as every time I click the main nav header, it also clicks a sub menu item as soon as the sub menu opens up!

Any help here would be great, as I think this is a theme issue to do with the nav menu hover option on a mobile phone… I am happy to provide further info if necessary.

    Thanks,
    Ross

    Hi Ross,

Thank you for contacting Styled Themes.

If we follow standard way of building sub-menu then first top most menu should be kept with # link, then you can keep any pages/post as sub-menu.You can follow as per our demo: https://demo.styledthemes.com/demos/puresimple/. Please find the attached file for menu setup on demo.

if you have added link on top menu then that top menu will open on double click, on single click it will open sub-menu.

Let us know if we are understanding you fully or perhaps this is not what you meant for.

We look forward for your response.

    Thanks

    Hi Sushil,

Thank you for your response. This makes sense, but the issue is arising for me because I have removed links for the top-menu tabs. I want the top menu tabs to simply open up a sub-menu upon hover as I don’t need pages for top-menu links. Is there a way to customize this on mobile so that the top-menu tabs can be clicked to show the sub-menu?

    Thanks,
    Ross

    Hi Ross,

Since we have no any problem with the navigation functioning in our theme’s demo site, we are not able to figure out your actual issue. Please kindly provide us your website URl so that we can look if you have really messed up and we can tackle it out .

    Note: You can refer the attachment and the link below on how our demo site works with the nav menu and sub menu. Hovering over the main menu items automatically display the sub menu as follows;

    Hope to hear from you,
