    Love love love your theme! Thank you. I am very new to WP and website development. I have created a site using encounters and would like my front page to show my latest posts , but only a summary (3-4 lines preferably). I have selected :

    -Reading Settings-Your latest posts
    -For each article in a feed, show- Summary

    But what I am seeing is full posts, not summarries on my front page. Please help and tell me what I am doing wrong.

    First, thanks for the great comment about my theme 🙂
    You mentioned full posts are showing… you will want to use the “insert more tag” button on the post editor toolbar. Click your mouse where you want to insert this in your post content, usually after your first paragraph, then click the “Insert more tag” button. This will put a split into your content which then does the summary part where blogs usually say “Read More” or “Continue Reading” etc. Although this link to show this is for the .com version of WordPress, the function is the same:
