Hyperlink not working in banner widget

Site is https://2020.sharicohn.com/. I need the banner widget to link to the home page. In Customize, the image shows that it is linked to https://2020.sharicohn.com/ but it doesn’t go there. I clicked “Edit image”, added a custom URL and Updated, but it appears already published and doesn’t save the URL in the image.

I’ve replaced your banner image widget with a custom HTML one.
It should be linked now.
