Hyperlinked text

With regard to the demo for preference-pro (http://demo.styledthemes.com/preference/)

The bottom right (footer 4) has words that are hyperlinks to other pages … how is this done?

In several places of my home page (footer 4 and bottom 1 and bottom 2) I would like to have a paragraph of text end with the words ‘read more’ whereby those words are a link (are a hyperlink) to a separate page or website.

If you are referring to the “Quick Links”, that is a custom menu I made and then used the WP menu widget, published to that widget position.

For your other item, that would simply be making a text link. You may want to check out http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_links.asp
