Import Demo Data – Issue

    Hi,

    Re: Flat Responsive 1.2.2

    I wanted to play around with the theme so I decided to import the demo data (on a new, clean, WP instance). When i clicked to import the demo data I hit an error…it just opened an error page with the “URL” javascripte:void(0); …going back to the import page when I mouse over the “import Demo” button I see that it has this javascript driving the link.

    The data is imported but it looks to have failed.

    Hi there,

    >> It may be causing problem due to the WordPress import plugin. Have you WordPress Import plugin active if yes first deactivate it.

    Hi Bidur,

    It was a clean install so there were no plugins active at all. I had just created the WP instance and installed the theme before importing the data.

    Hi John,

    It seems like you are using an outdated version of the theme, so we request you to update the theme to the latest version and let us know if the problem still exists?

    Note: Please take a backup of your site before proceeding. Normally we use duplicator plugin to make a backup. https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

    Hi Binya,

    I had the latest version of the theme installed when I reported the issue the latest version was only released yesterday, so it’s not surprising that it is outdated. 🙂

    I’ve installed 1.2.3 and fixes the problem the child theme issue I reported. I don’t need to re-import the demo site dummy data but I assume it works as well now.
