Hi,
Can you add links in the text widget boxes? Also can you make the widget title a link?
Thanks for any help
I believe there are plugins that can do linked widget titles, so you will need to look for that one.
As for the other part…you can add a link to text or images and wherever you have access to the code view of your content such as a text widget, post, or page.
Thanks got the plugin and that is sorted.
I guess my issue really is when I go to view the home page and try and view the code/text nothing gets displayed, so I can’t find any of the code from the WordPress edit page section.
Actually, I meant when you have a page or post open in your editor (on the text view) or a text widget open in the dashboard.
This is what my home page looks like under text editor – there is no text or code for me to edit or add links because nothing shows up on the home page or blog page, all other pages show text and code as they should.

It’s empty because you need to add content to it first. But because your original question was about adding links to a text widget, yes…like this example:

Sorry I think you’re missing the point – if you go to my website – http://www.alexandriaevents.co.uk you will see that there is content on the page, but when I open it in editor there is no content showing.
Ignore the question of adding links, as I know how to do that – my problem is now that there is no text in the editor for me to edit? I’m assuming that this theme works on wordpress 3.9.1 and that it was tested following the update. As there is no explanation for why my home and blog page show no content in text editor, while on the page themselves there is clearly content.
Those are text widgets, so you need to go to the widgets in your dashboard. They are published to the Top 1, 2, and 3 positions.
Ok so I’m in the widgets in my dashboard editing the text, so how do I create links within those text widgets?
Just like I posted a couple replies previously with the link code.
