    Ive been working on my wordpress site on google chrome, and then have gone to internet explorer to check what it looks like and the menu bar at the top has become one button saying “menu” rather than the whole list of menu items. Not sure how to sort it out?

    my apologies for late reply… it’s been a crazy day. Anyway, do you have a link to your site? I will check this out and see what is happening. Also, does this happen when you view the live demo site for Preference?

    the site is mec.miniexcavatorcentre.com

    It happens only occasionally and normally only within internet explorer. It does happen occasionally on your live demo site.

    Thanks for the link…. when you say occasionally, you mean it happens once randomly but not always?
    I’m unable to replicate what you are experiencing, perhaps if possible you could provide a screenshot?

    When i say occasionally, it doesn’t always do it but is frequent enough. i only had to refresh 5 or so times to replicate it.

    Did you create a custom menu for your main menu of your site, or are you using the default fallback menu?

    its a custom menu, i shall try and change it to the old menu system and see if that makes a difference

    I tried changing the menu back to the page number system and that didn’t seem to make a difference.

    I’m not sure what to suggest because if this is random, then it could be related more to the browser. Very hard to determine what is happening to you when that is the case. It’s also the first I’ve heard as well which adds to the puzzlement. I still have not been able to replicate it on my end. I’ve tried it in the ie mode of ie10, ie9, ie8, etc. I’m wondering if it could be a plugin you might be using because usually if something is not functioning, it’s often related to a plugin. Has anyone else experienced this when viewing your site?

    I am having the same problem with my menu and internet explorer as the other person. I does not display properly for my site and the preference them site. Is there any suggestions?

    Also, on my firefox browser it showed fine until I move from the test site to the actual site and now my right page sidebar does not show—it shows in internet explorer.
