Japanese words not recognized in content section

Hello dear Staff,

I recently launched my blog ( frenchkoukoku.fr ) using Encounters pro.
Really satisfied with the design and the whole experience, I have two small problems I would love to resolve here.

I write the blog in Japanese , but the Words counter seems to take in account the “western” characters only ( See attached files)

This of course is a problem for SEO, and I wonder if this is due to the Encounters Theme, or WordPress platform itself.

I’d be really thankful if anyone had an answer ! Thanks !

This one you will need to look into language capability (and translation) for your WordPress. The theme does contain a file encounters.pot file (generated using Poedit) which is used to translate the theme part, and then for functions and language of WordPRess, this one will be on the WordPress side.
