I just noticed that the bottom of one of my pages on my website (services) goes below the usual amount of black space. It has an extra length of blackness on just this one page only. I never noticed this before so it’s something that happened recently.

[edited because problem is now solved]

For pages that are shorter than the browser window, the background will show; in this case, the page background is black. You can change that by going to Appearance >> Background

Thanks! But it is strange because I have some pages that are shorter than that one and the black area doesn’t show as much as on that one.

I don’t want to change the colour of the background. I just want it to be like it is on the other pages of my website.

do you have a link where this black area is and one that isn’t?

    Thanks for resolving this problem.

I think it has something to do with your plugin or script that you have that floats this:

Establish your market presence in English-speaking countries!
I will convey your company's message to English customers and business partners.

I notice there is a delay but when it floats upward, that extra space below happens. Here is a test, take that widget out and see what happens.

Thanks but I’ve had that widget there for months now and never noticed the black space at the bottom until today.

Did you remove that widget to see if that extra bottom area disappears? It did for me when I removed it from the browser using the webmaster tools.

Yes, you are right. I removed that widget and the black area at the bottom disappeared.

It was the animation that floated up from the bottom that was causing the problem. I changed it to a different animation and it is all better now! While I was doing this I also figured out how to make the font size of the words larger. I must say that I am impressed with your themes and support Andre. Now I have attained a lot of knowledge about HTML and CSS than I ever thought was possible before.
