I am having trouble understanding where to upload the encounters skin to in wordpress; I am not sure where that folder resides…slightly confused? I have viewed the tutorial several times and feel like I have missed something. HELP????
You know what… the latest version has no skins folder… I find that really odd that they would eliminate that. I’m going to contact them and find out what, when, and why.
Good news…I found it. They just moved the skins folder…I’ve attached a screenshot to show where the “encounters” skin goes. The image shows my FTP program for the remote location (where the site is) and the folder path to follow:
I’m still confused as to how I get to that folder. When I type in the location, I get an error message.
Are you using an FTP program to access that location? If not, you need one, such as the popular Filezilla, which is free.
But if you are using an FTP program and access where your WordPress site files are, then you need to go into:
your site files here >> wp-content >> plugins >> layerslider >> static >> skins
Also, we are talking about the LayerSlider plugin and not the Widgetkit one right?
