Hello, I’m trying to set up my LayerSlider like you have it on the demo site, and I’m having a hard time configuring it properly. I’d like to have multiple blocks of text appear on top of the images fading in and out together at the same time, shortly after the image itself (or ideally with the image itself). Every way I set it, the blocks of text fade in at different times, and not consistently across slides.

Can you please explain how you configured your LayerSlider to achieve these effects? Thanks so much.

Hi Ben….I’m guessing you did not install the slider code from the “extras” folder of your theme download? What this does is completely sets up an exact duplicate of the demo slider you seen for Celestial Reloaded, so that all you need to do is change the image and the text…all other settings are set in place for you. The video tutorial for this is here:

    Layer Slider Setup

However, if you are wanting anything different, as in customize the effects, you will need to refer to the documentation for the slider, one location is when you have the layerslider open in the admin, click on the “Help” tab at the upper right corner for info.

Great, thank you, that’s helpful. Although I actually meant the slider on the main page of the demo site and the timing of the fading on that. I’m trying to get basically that same look and timing. I’ll look at the documentation some more as well. Thanks.

oh ok, I thought you were using the layer slider one…but the one on the front page demo is the Widgetkit plugin slideshow. There is also a video tutorial that one too. I will be here off and on should you run into any problems.
