Andre, I’m trying to setup the LayerSlider. When I ftp’d into the site and went in the LayerSlider folder to insert your skins, I find that I don’t have a skins folder. What do I do now? Ron
Your tutorial shows an open field under import where the code is to be pasted, but the only field showing is for export. I’m attaching a file so you can see what I mean. LayerSlider.jpg
Maybe I’m missing something. If you look at messages earlier in this series, you said “I forgot, that is another thing they changed too. Contact me via Email Support and I will send you the export file.” Sorry if I’m asking for more than I should. I’ll try to see if they will refund my purchase since the import feature doesn’t work with your theme.
The import actually does work. They changed how this is done from the older version where now it uses an actual import xml file instead. This is why I said contact me from the Email Support form and I would send you the xml file I created last week for someone else. However, you do have the option to request a refund from Envato for the LayerSlider, or perhaps an exchange for a different slider. If you are still wanting one that is a parallax style (the different layers), you might want to check out the Slider Revolution Responsive WordPress Plugin. You still have the option of using the Widgetkit one (which is free), although this is not a parallax style.
You’re confusing me. First you said you would send me a file, so I re-contacted you asking when you were going to send it, then you told me you would have to charge me to get it fixed.
Ron… I think you are getting confused or both of us 🙂
I said to use the Email Support form to request the import XML file that I can send you, but I have not received that yet, so try again and I will send it.
The part about me charging you is because I thought you wanted me to setup your slider for you.
So let’s try this once again…. use the Email Support form and I will reply back with the file attachment.
