I use a plugin called display widgets which allows you to specify pages and posts not only text widgets can show on, but also plugin widgets in general. Think you already use it though so I was just rehashing and didn’t know.
Oh that one… ok now I understand. For the advanced text widget, I use that because it lets you disable the title. However, I recently found a new plugin that does that for “any’ widget and quite easily too. It’s called Remove Widget Titles. As for publishing widgets to select areas of a site, I use the Dynamic Widgets plugin for that. It has a slight learning curve but works extremely well and more flexible as it’s not just for pages.
