line under showcase slider when using page banner

We can not seem to get rid of a thin black line that appears under the showcase responsive slider. It appears ONLY when you put a page banner or slider (without the curve) into the page banner widget area. We want the slider on all pages and the same slider on the front page with the curve but is not working out too well.

Note: I just moved this to the Celestial Reloaded forum category.

For the line…open the theme’s style.css file and around line 189, you see this:

#showcase,
#banner {
	max-height:590px;
	position:relative;
	border-top:1px solid #525458;
}

Remove the border-top line there.

For the other part of your post, unfortunately, the curve is only coded for the front page view only.
