Is there a way to add an alt attribute to the logo in the site title line?

Hmm, well I thought I had it figured out. I went to my Dashboard > Media, then found the pic of my logo. I added an alt text there, but it still does not show as having an alt attribute on my site. I even removed the logo from the top bar display and uploaded it again after adding the alt text.

Any suggestions?

Hi Diana Cobb,

Please follow the following steps to fix your issue:
Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Site Title & Taglines=> Site Identity=> And add in the site title whatever you want=> Then Save it.
