    I have a number of menu items, each with sub-menus. How can I create a main menu item without it going to a page. I want the sub-menus active only. Sometimes I might even want to go one level deeper, with the main menu inactive and well as the first sub-menu. I hope I’m explaining myself correctly.

    You would add a new “Link” menu item to your menu, but instead of adding an actual link, add a pound sign: #
    I do this with my demo sites. So basically it’s a link that isn’t a link, but works great for doing what you want to do.

    On the menu page there are three categories, pages, links and categories. So it’s in the pages section where I’ve been working. So do you mean I do this under ‘links’? I’m sorry for being dense, but I don’t understand.

    Its ok…. the one you want is the “Links” option out of that choice of categories, pages, and links.
