Neither a slider or photo will show up in header

    I followed the steps outlined in the tutorial for creating a slider on my front page and nothing shows up. Then I followed the steps to add an image for the header and again nothing. I’ve seen a few similar posts, but none of the answers help me. Is there a setting somewhere that needs changed? I followed the rest of the tutorials for my site and everything has worked fine. It just seems like there is a step missing here.
