    Hi,

I set the front page as static page and successfully place widgets in the “Showcase Front Page” and on the first “Top” for it.

When I tried, however, to place widgets in the rest of the pages, I noticed that I can only place widgets in the Footer area and not in the Top Inset or Bottom Inset, or any Bottom…

Is it possible to place widgets in those areas (the “Customize” area gives the hint that it may not, as they are not shown in there) but the widgets area show all of them…

    Help! Thanks!

Not quite sure I fully understand…probably because for me it’s getting late here.
However, I will take a guess that some pages are not showing widgets you published? If so, you want to make sure the pages in question are using the page templates that have all the widget positions. On the page template selection, these will be the templates that begin with “Page Widgets…” in the template names.

    Thanks, that was it.

Now, how can I use the widgets AND the content of the page?

    Ummmm, haha.

I guess what I’m trying to do is to use the content I have in the page and just add widgets below (or above).

But when I go to the widgets section, I can’t activate some of them (top inset, bottom inset) because it seems that those are only for the front/static page… (see attachment image).

So, I can only use either the page content or widgets? If yes, I can only use the bottom widgets?

That’s my fault…I need to change the descriptions on the widgets. The page templates as I mentioned previously, will show the widgets whether you are on the front page or inner pages, so you should be fine. Just make sure the page you want these to show is using one of the widget templates.
