    I just installed and activated WidgetKit but the item is not showing in the menu tab as shown in the tutorial. Help! I’m trying to set up my slider.

    Me again! I spoke too soon. I’m on step 2 of the tutorial: Upload the Custom Preference Slider Template. It says that the download package has a folder called “Extras”. I can’t find that folder in the package. Does it have another name? Please help asap!

    Hi Mollie…. it should be there. When you download the theme, unzip the package, then in that is “extras” then inside that is another folder called “widgetkit” which has this structure:

    extras/widgetkit/slideshow/preference

    You might want to download the Preference Package again but if you still do not see it, contact me directly from the footer link of this page and I can send it to you. Although I just downloaded the theme to check this out and it was there.
