Pure & Simple Marketing Text on TOP of ALL my page

I updated to the 1.2.5 Pure & Simple theme (paid for version). Now the following text is populating all my pages below the feature header graphic and above the first text box. I cannot find where to delete the text. This is really bad, especially since I just sent out an email blast with a link to the site. How do I remove the text?

Hi Tenzin Yeshe,

We had visited your site, it seems you are using free version of pure & simple not pro version. In pro version you will not get such default text.
And on the free version you can remove the default text simply from customizer. For this
Go to dashboard -> appearance->customize->basic setting -> there you will get checkbox to Hide default content from theme
