I use the pure & simple child theme – with big updates to woocommerce, pure & simple has two outdated templates

puresimple/woocommerce/cart/cart.php version 2.3.8 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.3
puresimple/woocommerce/checkout/form-shipping.php version 2.2.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0

How do I fix this please.

    Thank you
    Michelle

Do you have any idea on when that update will be? We show the same conflict on our site and think it could be affecting woocommenrce. Has anyone experienced slowness?

    Thanks

    Hi Courtney Stover,

We had updated our theme to version 4.3.3, updating WooCommerce template and adding theme support to WooCommerce zoom, gallery llghtbox and gallery slider.

Let us know if you find any issue related to our themes.

    Thanks

I didn’t see 4.3.3 in the update list – I saw 4.3.2? We aren’t sure how to update on the site as it’s running version 4.3.0 and doesn’t have a notice to update. Is there a plug in we should use? Also, I’m not sure where to find our license key. thanks!

    Hi Courtney Stover

Pure Simple themes comes with license keys feature only from version 4.3.2. We will soon release video tutorials on license keys activation. You can follow any of the method to update a themes.

step 2: Go to dashboard -> Appearance -> Themes
steps 3: Activate any other themes, so you will be able to delete existing old version of pure simple
step 4: Delete old pure simple version
ste5 : Click on add new bottom at the top -> Then click on upload theme button -> Then click on choose file-> move to local folder where your downloaded files from step 1 exists
step 6: Upload that theme and activate.

    Via FTP

Step 1: Download the “installable theme” from here https://www.styledthemes.com/my-account/ and unzip it
Step 2: Access your server via FTP or SFTP
    Step 3: Browse to wp-content/themes/
Step 4: Delete and override the “puresimple” folder files with the new ones downloaded in step 1.

Let us know if you find any problems on this.

    Thanks

    Hi Courtney,

Apologies, we missed to put out an update blog post about this version released on the 18th of May. We have now posted it, see it here: https://www.styledthemes.com/pure-simple-pro-updated-to-4-3-3/

Please download the latest version manually via FTP this last time.
For the update notice to show up you need to be on at least 4.3.2 as this is where we added the license key functionality that takes care of one-click updates.

let me know if you need any help
    regards
    Imre

    Hey Kristine,

Please go to your woocommerce > settings > products > display where you can crop and change the image sizes. You then have to regenerate your thumbnails for those changes to take effect by using Regenerate Thumbnails plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ Then clear the cache and reload your page,it should work.

    Thanks!

    Dear Hey Kristine,

Gallery and light box feature from WooCommerce tries to cover full size of the container which blurs and extend the image.
Your product image container is 409×635 px , whereas you image size is 296x463px. So we recommend you to keep image of 409x635px so your image well fits on that product image container.

Let us know how it goes after changing the image size.

    Thanks

    Hello Kristine,

You need to add the code as follows in your child theme’s functions.php file, save and run it. You can find the reference on what to add here:
    https://www.styledthemes.com/forums/topic/disable-zoom-on-single-product-woocommerce/.
It will disable your woocommerce gallery functions.
Then set up the product image size inside woocommerce > setting > products > display according to your image and and regenerate the thumbnail by using Regenerate Thumbnails plugin.
    Hopefully it works!

    Thanks,
    Sushil
