ParticipantI just installed Lavish Pro. When using Quote and Link custom posts, the front page is not displaying their URLs correctly when you hover. The dashes are left out. When you click on one to go to the single post, you go to “page not found” instead. There’s a quote post on this page you can look at.

ParticipantOkay. I’ve attached a screen shot of the post that is on the front page. When you click the post, it goes to page not found. When I looked at the code, it shows this: . The href is not capturing the actual URL, it’s grabbing the title.
If you go to the home page at http://regardingfilm.com/ and click on the quote, you’ll see what happens.

ParticipantHello,
I just installed the updated theme. The link for the “quote post” has been corrected. However, it opens up a new tab when clicked instead of staying in the same window. Is that the proper behavior for the “quote post” format?
Also, I’ve notice a couple of other issues, both also involving custom post formats. The “image” post links for title and metadata are not the same color as the other post titles. I have an image post on my front page for you to look at titled “Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall from The Big Sleep.” The H2 color for all the other posts is black. The image post H2 is blue. The color for the date and edit box are different as well.
The “link post” format is not working correctly either. My example post on the front page is “Recommended Website: The Godfather Trilogy.” Part of the text, which is not a link, is actually linked to the post title and is going to page not found. The actual link is working fine, but the beginning text of the post should not be a link. You’ll notice that the words, First published in 1995 by J. Geoff Malta, is highlighted for some reason. I’ve attached the HTML for this post for you to review.
Thanks so much!

ParticipantSorry, one other question about the “image” post. For the “video” and “gallery” posts, the titles are located below the post on the front page. The title for the “image” post is above the post. Is that the correct behavior?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Jennifer,
We have updated the theme regarding the “quote post” link and you will find the option to open in same windows or in another by following the below steps;
Dashboard => Appearance => Customize => Basic Setting => Blog Setting => Then you can see the option there.
For the colors it seems that you have change the color via customize option, so please check once. or you can use the following css but it will be better if you change the color via customize;
.la-contents .entry-content a { color: #000; }
NOTE: Please use the child theme style.css or custom css plugin to write the css.
Please use the latest version of the theme because we have fix the issue of link post in version 4.1.0.
Yes it is the correct behavior as per our themes.
Thanks

ParticipantHello. I don’t see an option to download 4.1.0. It’s not listed in my account history.

ParticipantThanks so much for the new option to stay in the window. That part is working great.
I still think there’s a problem with the “link” post, however. If you look at the link post on my homepage, the following text: First published in 1995 by J. Geoff Malta,, is actually a link to the post URL. This is supposed to be just text. I do not have it set up as a link. Somehow, the first bit of text is being turned into a link automatically. Do you have any documentation on how you have the link post set up to work? Are we able to include plain text in those posts?
Thanks again for all your help.

ParticipantI just uploaded a screen shot of the link post in question. The first part of that text should not be a hyperlink.
