MemberHow do I remove the banner header/header image above the slider on the home page, as you’ve done in the demo? Probably obvious, but I’m having trouble figuring it out. Also wondering how to reduce margins around my logo to slim up the white space above and below it. Thanks!

ModeratorBanner image? There should not be any image loading above your own, or are you referring to the background of the banner area?
For the white space around the logo, this is actually the top header area styled by this:
#cir-site-header { padding: 2em 0; }
Adjusting this will be the header area and not just around the logo itself.

MemberYes, I guess it’s the banner background area. If I upload a header image, it appears there instead of the designated background color. Either way, this is showing up between the white header area with the logo and the top of my slider. Does this have something to do with the way I have my slider photos sized?

ModeratorEasy enough…. go to Appearance >> Header >> remove the background header image. You can also change he colour background from there too. Please note this will be global so any pages where that bluish background was, will be gone, unless for select pages you use the Header backgrounds and caption methods (there’s a tutorial about this).

MemberI’ve already tried that, but the background color still appears above my slider. (Sorry I’m not explaining this very well.)
Please compare my attached screenshot with the tan bar above the slider to your demo slider, which seems to butt right up against the white header/logo area.

MemberI have a Coming Soon template live right now while I’m developing the site. I’m not sure how to grant you access without publishing a site that is in no way ready for the world to see. Any advice?

ModeratorYou would create a new user for me which then allows me to access…. totally up to you though.

MemberHappy to do that. What email address should I use? And what role should I assign you?

ModeratorGo to the support page on this site and at the bottom click on Email Support. I think I should be ok with just a typical user account, then provide the link to login in the email as well.

ParticipantHave you been able to fix it?
Same issue here. I removed the background image but still have the same situation:
… background color still appears above my slider. (Sorry I’m not explaining this very well.)
Please compare my attached screenshot with the tan bar above the slider to your demo slider, which seems to butt right up against the white header/logo area.:blink:

ModeratorHi Aki…. yes, all fixed 🙂
It was due to the changes I had to make with how lists and list styles were implemented in this theme where it was affecting the slideshow’s list layout of slides. Technically it was an adjustment to the slideshow’s theme style I made.I will be uploading the updated version of Circumference (version 1.0.4) today.
