MemberHi, I’m not sure if questions are still answered within this forum, but might as well just give it a shot.
The height of the showcase is 400px, and I would like to resize it to 300px, in order to have the slider fit nicer into the container and therefor have a bit “cleaner” frontpage. Probably this question was here already but I can’t seem to find anything. Can you please let me know how and where to do this.
Have a great day!

ModeratorYou’re in luck because the height is based on whatever you put into it. So yes, you can resize (downsize) the showcase to 300px by making your image and/or slider that height.

Memberwell, actually I did! All my images are height 300px, but it still doesn’t adjust itself.
When viewed on the ipad I get a considerable amount of background color which makes the look on both an ipad or laptop pretty awkward. On my ipad 1/2 of the showcase is slider and header, the other half of the schowcase is background. On my laptop the showcase gives about 75-80% to the slider and the rest is the background of the showcase. Plz check awesomeyoga.nl …..and while we’re at it…. how can I provide links to the different slides? I can imagine that it would be very sufficient for a client if they see something on the slider and that when they click on it, it routes them to the particular page with information…..

ModeratorIt looks like your images are 300px but your slideshow settings still have 400px…might want to check that setting for the height.
For a slide link, there are a couple ways but probably the most common (depending on what slider you are using) you can add a link to the image when it’s in the editor when using the Widgetkit slideshow:**Also, when you insert an image for a slide, remove the class “aligncenter” that the editor (and WordPress) adds to the image tag.

MemberOne last question: where do I change to size from 400px to 300px? I searched the style.css but couldn’t find it, unless I overlooked it…. or have to change it somewhere else…..

ModeratorYou’re very welcome.
To answer your question, It’s part of the slideshow settings (where you create your slides). You will find it on the right side of the window there.August 21, 2014 at 11:16 pm #20378grasjegras
