Slider Revolution to replace Theme’s Slider

What’s the quickest, most surefire way to replace the theme’s slider with revolution slider?

I have the rev code I just want to be sure I’m replacing the proper code in the Celestial Reloaded theme.

A little more tricky when adding code directly into the theme file…best to use their shortcode method by pasting it into a text widget. Let me know how this slider works because I wouldn’t mind trying it out in addition to the LayerSlider I have. Could be another option for me to provide a custom style in my themes.

But to get it into the same place—-to remove the theme’s slider and replace it with Revolution—don’t I have to replace your code with the

nope…the theme has three header image sets, one for the WordPress header (this one is coded in the file), one for the Showcase header, and another for a page banner header. The last two are widget positions which gives you the means of adding sliders, static images, etc. I coded the theme so you are not limited to what slider a person wants to use. So adding any slider can be done with a widget either by adding the slide’s shortcode into a text widget, or if the plugin comes with it’s own slider widget, then you can use that.

The code you pasted is only if the location in a theme page has no widget position.
